I love celebrating everything, and although I don't live in New Orleans, I don't let that stop me from observing Carnival time. Today, I made a little display in my living room and ordered a King Cake from here: http://www.haydelbakery.com/kingcakes/kingcakes_main.asp. Life is too short not to have fun.

Gypsy rainbow chandelier
I saw one of these at a trade show booth where they were selling women's clothing with lots of bling and fell in love with it. My sister, recognizing that I would probably never buy one for myself, as I prefer to blow any extra cash that comes my way on expensive resin, bought it for me wholesale last January. Being the Queen Procrastinatrix of the Universe, I finally hung it up yesterday. For some reason, it tends to list to the east, so I think I'll fire up my glue gun and try to even it out. I do love it so. It makes me want to run away with the circus, or perhaps put rainbow streaks in my hair.
First post, Part 2 (Don't bother to look for Part 1)
Alrighty then, I already managed to delete my first post, so I'll try again. What I said was is that I am keeping my livejournal for my personal blabby comments about whatever and posting doll photos and fun projects here. As my small grandson once remarked while trying to transform a car into a robot, "Why does everything have to be so difficult?"
